Affordable Suites Detroit-Warren

As a first time guest , that need somewhere close to my job and decent and good area . I will say it was not bad at all. It’s crazy cause one of the reviews has my room number in it and it was not as bad as they describe. I was not trying to live here so it serve its purpose. Water was hot and bed was comfy. Room was not dirty and didn’t smell . I always bring my blanket so I don’t be wrap up like that on hotel sheets . Close to different stores and restaurants. There was slight noise of people but it was not to crazy ….they may want to add some bigger or more garbage cans around the property but beside that it was straight.

I stayed with my family during a time of serious hardship for my family & I. We stayed for 3 months, I believe. Upon my first walk in, the housekeeping does NEED to IMPROVE! Furniture is clean. No bugs/pests & no sign of them at all! It's quiet there. No swimming pool anymore. You can ONLY turn the air down to 65, being on the 2nd floor as hot as it was outside it didn't seem to do much on 65. I had to purchase a fan, it still was hot in my suite if you moved around or cleaned like I did. But I found remedies to help accommodate myself & kids as should other people because something like that is a luxury & shouldn't condem a business. Internet worked ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGLY never had an issue one with the wifi! It never cut off & you could walk around the building & not lose service! EMPLOYEES- Sam is so AMAZING. He holds empathy for people/families such as mine during dark times & rough hardships. Sam isn't like other managers at other hotels/suites or even any businesses/companies, because he legitimately & genuinely CARES about people there. He has to maintain the suites promptly & carefully as he should to keep the company business but he will actually put the people first here & do what he can to help. He is AMAZING! CAROL you are such a beautiful soul too! You've helped & listen to my concerns whenever I brought anything up or even would hold conversations with me. You are so friendly & that truly helps people like me that were facing a rough rough time. It helps us so much. I appreciate you & Sam so so deeply!

I must say the stay at affordable suites was an amazing experience for me, the service was amazing and the room was clean and comfortable. The manager Sam was beyond gracious, understanding and fair he went above and beyond to provide excellent service because of that I plan to continue my stay at the affordable suites. I’m a very satisfied customer!

This place is amazing!!! Me and my wife moved here end of November from Red Roof and have had nothing but kindness from all the staff. Peggy the housekeeper is one of our favorites. She always asking if we need anything and always so kind. We love the front desk staff. From Carol to Brittany to Sam and afternoon lady. These staff are amazing and wonderful people who truly care about your stay. Rooms are always clean fresh linen. No bugs whatsoever very very clean. A lot of these reviews that portray this as a filthy place are just as*******. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Kitchen is wonderful. Love the walk in bathroom. Pet friendly is a huge plus. Rooms are big and spacious.

First stay, dirty dishes in cabinet. Second stay stove broken and no breakfast for the kids before school. Third stay there’s splatter on the lamp shade that looks like blood but they turned it towards the back to no one sees it until you’re laying in the bed.

Wonderful customer service. Clean, roomy & stocked with more things than I’ve seen in a hotel in quite a while, such as TP, Kleenex, bedding, towels, etc, I love it am have been here since early November & plan to stay till spring. Highly recommended!

I will give Sam 5 stars he is so helpful soo nice he was truly a blessing while we was waiting for waiting for our home to get ready , we stayed here for a month, I’ll give the hotel 3 stars, the furniture is outdated n very old when I called and told them we checked out the lady said we broke the lil table when we did not, the furniture was basically glued on fall apart soon as I set something on it!!!!! , I did see a roach just one the kitchen sink stops up really fast ! The stove doesn’t get hot that good , but I will say Sam is the best I really appreciate him

Very wonderful staff, the manager Sam is very friendly, responsive, and so are his workers, especially Cheryl. They make sure the place is good around the clock. The location is super convenient as it is in between two Walmarts less than two miles from each other with both being in strip malls. I only have an issue with parking for the rooms close to the main entrance, but still, a mediocre issue.
